I can remember, this is fairly intimate, but this feels like such a co-op-y thing because people were always ready to pitch in and help. I was breastfeeding and I was pumping because I worked here full time. And my breast pump broke suddenly. And I was, you know, heartbroken. I'd been waiting to pump for hours and my baby was in daycare a half an hour away. And I was just like, oh God, what do I do now?
And I came out like in tears and showed the pump to a couple of coworkers. And they're like, we can fix that. A couple of them took it away and within a half an hour it was ready to go again. And I went back in. It's a silly kind of intimate portrait of what life was like there for me. But it was true. Everybody was so willing to just pitch in and break down the barriers and do the things that had nothing to do with their jobs.
